Install the add-on

The Dataden add-on puts your reports into Google Sheets. You install it once from the Google Workspace Marketplace, then open it from any spreadsheet.

Install from the Marketplace

1. Open a spreadsheet in Google Sheets.
2. Go to Extensions → Add-ons → Get add-ons.
3. Search for Dataden and select it.
4. Select Install and follow Google's steps to allow it.

Open the add-on

1. In a spreadsheet, go to Extensions → Dataden → Open.
2. The Dataden sidebar opens on the right of the sheet.
3. The first time, sign in with your Dataden account.

What the add-on can reach

• The spreadsheet it is open in, to write your reports. It does not open your other files.
• Dataden, to get your figures.
• A timer, so your reports can refresh on the schedule you set.

Remove the add-on

Go to Extensions → Add-ons → Manage add-ons, find Dataden and remove it. The figures already in your sheets stay.
