Connect a platform

Connecting a platform lets Dataden read the ad accounts your sign-in can see there. Owners and admins of a workspace can connect platforms.

Connect from the website

1. Open Dataden and go to Accounts.
2. Select Connect platform.
3. Choose the platform from the list.
4. Sign in to the platform and allow Dataden to read your data.
5. You come back to Accounts, with a line saying the platform is connected. Its row then shows how many accounts it found.

Next, add the accounts you want Dataden to save.

Upload a CSV file

ChatGPT Ads comes in as a CSV file you export from the platform.

1. In Connect platform, choose ChatGPT Ads (CSV).
2. Enter the Account name, its Currency (such as USD) and its Time zone.
3. Choose the File and select Upload.

To add newer figures later, open the account's ⋯ menu and choose Upload again.

Connect from Google Sheets

When you build a report for a platform that is not connected, the add-on shows Connect. It opens Connect platform on the Dataden website in a new tab. When you come back to the sheet, the add-on reads your connections again.

When a connection needs reconnecting

A connection can stop working, for example when its sign-in at the platform ends. Its accounts then show Reconnect in their ⋯ menu on Accounts. Choose it and sign in to the platform again. In the add-on, the same connection shows Reconnect.
